Tejashwi Yadav Criticizes Wakf Bill in Bihar Assembly

Rabri Devi Targets Nitish Kumar Over Waqf Board Bill

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav led a vocal protest in the Bihar Assembly, criticizing the Wakf Board Bill and accusing the government of promoting divisive politics. Speaking on behalf of the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance), Yadav condemned the bill as unconstitutional and vowed to oppose it at all costs.

Yadav asserted that the opposition has a right to raise public interest issues in the Assembly. However, he lamented the lack of satisfactory responses from the government on pivotal topics, including the reservation policy. He accused the BJP-led central government of fostering communal hatred and highlighted the significance of diversity as India’s strength.

During the heated session, Yadav also called out the Deputy Chief Minister for misrepresenting historical facts about reservations during the Lalu Prasad-Rabri Devi regime, underscoring the Grand Alliance’s commitment to social justice.

Tejashwi Yadav’s strong stance against the Wakf Bill underscores the Grand Alliance’s focus on protecting constitutional rights and addressing socio-political grievances in Bihar.
