In a heated political exchange, Bihar's Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar while addressing the media during his two-day tour of Muzaffarpur. Responding to criticism from political strategist Prashant Kishor, who had previously taken a jab at Tejashwi, Yadav shifted focus to PM Modi, calling him a "fourth fail" in contrast to the "engineer" Nitish Kumar, highlighting the irony of the latter bowing to Modi despite his educational background.
Yadav also addressed the issue of caste-based census, stating that the central government led by PM Modi is unwilling to conduct such a census, which he believes is crucial for Bihar's development. He claimed that the absence of caste data hinders proper planning and governance.
During his speech, Tejashwi reiterated his commitment to the promises made in the previous elections, including providing jobs and resolving poverty. He also hinted at new plans for the development of the Mithilanchal and Tirhut regions, which would be included in his party’s manifesto.
Tejashwi Yadav’s comments reflect ongoing political tensions in Bihar as he aims to position himself against both state and national leadership, with a strong focus on caste-based issues and economic development.
