The ongoing land survey in Bihar has sparked a political controversy, with opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav accusing the government of corruption in the process. Speaking in Madhubani, Yadav said that the people are suffering due to bureaucratic inefficiencies and corruption in the survey. He urged the government to simplify the survey rules and consult with the public to address the issues.
In response, BJP leader and minister Dilip Jaiswal dismissed Yadav’s claims, stating that the survey was being conducted transparently. He questioned whether Yadav had a personal financial stake in the land survey, hinting at the opposition leader’s history of land dealings in exchange for jobs. Jaiswal assured the public that the survey would be conducted according to their wishes, not the will of government employees.
Adding to the debate, JDU’s MLC Neeraj Kumar highlighted that the land survey process is conducted online, making it more transparent, while Congress leader Premchand Mishra urged the government to address public grievances.
The Bihar land survey has become a political battleground, with opposition leaders alleging corruption and calling for reforms, while the government maintains that the process is fair and transparent.
