New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was seen by Sunita Kejriwal and Delhi Minister Atishi in the Tihar Jail. They discussed the specifics of their meeting with the Chief Minister there. Mr. Kejriwal is expected to see Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann tomorrow.

Atishi, who holds six departments in the Delhi Cabinet, said, "Just now, I came to meet the Chief Minister. I asked him how are you, but he said, don't ask about my condition, tell me how the work is going on in Delhi." "He said, are the children getting books? Are medicines available in Mohalla Clinic?" Atishi added.

"The Chief Minister said that the summer season is coming, there should be no problem with water in Delhi...He gave a message to the women of Delhi that he is making plans to give ₹ 1000 to the women of Delhi," the minister said.

Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Mr. Kejriwal, was allegedly denied access to see him, according to prior claims made by the Aam Aadmi Party, but in an update, said Sunita Kejriwal will be meeting her husband later in the day, adding, "Permission was given to two people but Sunita ji's was canceled. New laws are made every day, permission was not given to her, but when our lawyers fought this battle, she was allowed to meet Mr. Kejriwal."

AAP's campaign for the Lok Sabha in the nation's capital and other states would be led by Mrs. Kejriwal, the party started. The campaign kicked off with a roadshow to support AAP's candidate for East Delhi, Kuldeep Kumar. This is the first time that Mrs. Kejriwal has entered the political sphere actively.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh asserted last week that Atishi's name was added to the list of guests for Mr. Kejriwal following the name of Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj.

According to Mr. Singh, Atishi and Mr. Bharadwaj were scheduled to meet with the chief minister at Tihar.

"Atishi's meeting was not confirmed. Delhi Education Minister Atishi applied for the meeting and at the last moment, her meeting was canceled," Mr Singh said.

In the Delhi Liquor Policy case, Arvind Kejriwal was taken into custody in March. On March 21, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) detained him in connection with a money laundering investigation. In the same case, Manish Sisodia, his former deputy, is incarcerated.

The AAP claims that the chief minister will continue to lead the government from behind bars, and he has not resigned from office following his detention.
