Prashant Kishor Vows to Halt Migration and Boost Education in Bihar

Political strategist-turned-leader Prashant Kishor has made bold promises as part of his ongoing campaign in Bihar. Speaking at a public meeting in Supaul, Kishor announced his plan to halt migration from the state within a year. His agenda includes providing free education in private schools and raising the state pension for the elderly from ₹400 to ₹2,000.

Kishor, who has been positioning himself as a challenger to Bihar’s established political parties, declared that his Jan Suraj initiative would create employment opportunities in Bihar itself, preventing young people from seeking work in metropolitan cities like Delhi and Mumbai. He also pledged that children under the age of 15 would receive free education in both government and private schools, and elderly citizens would see a significant rise in their pensions.

Kishor’s ambitious promises have drawn attention, particularly among Bihar’s youth and elderly populations. While his proposals have sparked concern among established parties, only time will tell if these promises can transform into substantial electoral gains.
