Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in a proactive move ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, conducted a thorough inspection of the Patna Metro project and the Museum Tunnel construction. These initiatives, part of Kumar's dream project, aim to connect the Bihar Museum and Patna Museum, enhancing the city's infrastructure and cultural appeal.
The state government had sanctioned ₹500 crore for the project last year. During his visit on July 17, Kumar assessed the progress, accompanied by several ministers and officials. He emphasized the importance of adhering to timelines and ensuring quality work.
At the Patna Museum site, Kumar reviewed the tunnel construction and other development activities, issuing directives to expedite the work. He then proceeded to inspect the Patna Metro project, seeking detailed updates from officials and stressing the necessity of timely completion.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha, present during the inspection, made a pointed remark about the opposition, highlighting the government's commitment to development and law and order. The inspection underscores Nitish Kumar's focus on infrastructure development as a key electoral agenda.
