Sahni had remarked that Nitish Kumar’s statements reflected his advancing age, suggesting that the CM should step down.
Sinha, defending Kumar, stated, "The Chief Minister remains active and dedicated to his work, touring districts and reviewing departmental progress. Those associating with criminals and corrupt individuals are not true well-wishers of Bihar."
Sahni, who had made the remark during a meeting in Darbhanga, has also faced criticism for claiming to represent the ‘Mallah’ community while not providing them adequate political representation.
