'Modi government can fall by August', Lalu Yadav's big claim

Lalu Yadav claimed that the NDA government at the Center is weak. This government can fall anytime after August. Elections can be held anytime. So we have to be fully prepared.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav on Friday, July 5, 2024, claimed that the Narendra Modi-led government at the Center could fall by August. The RJD chief said that I appeal to all party workers to be ready, as elections can be held anytime. The Modi government in Delhi is very weak and it can fall by August.

“The RJD chief's remarks came just days after the Congress claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government has been reduced to one-third and his government is in the last stage and can fall anytime. In his response to the debate on the motion of thanks earlier this week, Prime Minister Modi said that since the results came out, a Congress leader kept beating the drum indicating a third-party government.”

PM Modi had also said that the verdict of the 2024 general elections shows that people have rejected propaganda and voted for protest. He said that the politics of misleading people has been lost.

After the Parliament session ended, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh had taken a dig at PM Modi. He said that two things were definitely seen in the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha and the simultaneous session of the Rajya Sabha. One new thing, aggressive, revived, rejuvenated opposition in the India Group, as it should be in a democracy, but at the same time, we have not seen any change in the attitude, approach, or behavior of the non-organic PM.
