Jitan Ram Manjhi's Son Responds to Lalu Yadav's Remarks, Calls Him

Bihar’s political landscape has once again been stirred by caste-related remarks, this time between the RJD and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM). HAM leader and Bihar Minister Santosh Suman, son of Jitan Ram Manjhi, hit back at RJD chief Lalu Yadav for his derogatory comments on the Musahar caste, to which Manjhi belongs.

Suman condemned Lalu's statements, accusing him of insulting the entire Dalit community. "Lalu Yadav has become old and ill, which is why he is making such remarks," Suman said. He added that under Lalu's rule, Bihar was plagued by crime and lawlessness, and now, the same person is disrespecting the marginalized communities he once claimed to champion.

Santosh Suman also took a dig at Tejashwi Yadav, criticizing his sporadic political tours and labeling him as immature. "Tejashwi often dreams of the 'jungle raj' era, which is why he falsely claims crime is rising in Bihar," Suman remarked.

The heated exchange between HAM and RJD leaders underscores the deeply entrenched caste-based politics in Bihar. As both sides trade barbs, the discourse around caste and governance continues to dominate the political conversation in the state.
