Jharkhand Government Withdraws Ex-CM's Security Convoy, Champai Soren Calls It a Conspiracy

In a political twist, the Jharkhand government has withdrawn all vehicles from the security convoy of former Chief Minister Champai Soren. Soren took to his social media to share this development, calling it a political conspiracy and stating that the public would give a befitting response.

Soren posted, "Disregarding all rules and protocols, the state government has recalled the vehicles from my security detail. However, I don't require any form of security while I'm among the people of Jharkhand." Shortly after this statement, Soren posted a video of the BJP's "Parivartan Yatra" on social media, captioning it, "How will they stop the one raised by storms? The atmosphere is about to change."

Leader of the Opposition in the Jharkhand Assembly, Amar Kumar Bauri, also expressed strong disapproval, criticizing the state government for compromising Soren's security. He questioned why Champai Soren, who is entitled to Z-plus security, was being denied protection while other former CMs retained theirs. Bauri suggested that the government was trying to silence Soren's stance against Bangladeshis, which has gained traction in Santhal Pargana.

Notably, Champai Soren was granted Z-plus security after Heman Soren's temporary suspension as CM. After Heman Soren was released on bail and resumed his position, the relations between him and Champai Soren soured, leading to public friction between the two political figures.

The withdrawal of Soren’s security convoy has sparked political controversy in Jharkhand, with allegations of political conspiracy flying high. The response from both Soren and opposition leaders indicates that this issue is likely to further escalate in the coming days.
