Amid rising speculation about differences between LJP leader Chirag Paswan and Bollywood actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, Paswan cleared the air. The two were recently spotted outside the Parliament, sparking conversations about their camaraderie. While Kangana’s remarks on the contentious farm laws stirred controversy, Paswan stated, “I have no grievances against her. Her statements might be controversial, but she speaks her mind.”
Paswan further elaborated on Kangana's transition from acting to politics, stating, "Kangana is no longer just an actress; she is also a political figure now. It is understandable that she might take time to grasp political nuances. However, I believe she is smart and will soon understand the intricacies."
Kangana, who had earlier voiced support for the repealed farm laws, later retracted her comments. Addressing this, Paswan mentioned, “Everyone is entitled to personal opinions, but when affiliated with a political party, the party's stance should take precedence. A party is like a mother, and it is every member’s responsibility to follow its ideology.”
While Kangana's statements may have created waves, Chirag Paswan seems to believe in giving her the benefit of the doubt. As she continues to learn the ropes of politics, Paswan is optimistic that she will adapt and align her views with her party.
