RJD Delegation Meets Election Commission, Raises Concerns Over Bihar’s SIR

A delegation of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders held a detailed discussion with the full bench of the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday regarding the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Bihar.
After the meeting, RJD MP Manoj Jha told reporters that the party had put forward its concerns on various aspects of the process, including voter deletions, objections, revision timelines, and postal ballots.
“The interaction lasted nearly two hours. We presented the RJD’s viewpoint on all major issues related to the SIR. The Commission assured us that efforts will be made to simplify the process and ensure greater transparency,” Jha said.
He further expressed hope that the poll body would take constructive measures in line with the party’s concerns.
