Lalu Yadav dismisses the implications of the Delhi election results and claims the BJP has no chance in Bihar.

Lalu Prasad Yadav, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), minimized the effect of the Delhi Assembly election results on Bihar on Thursday, claiming that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cannot form a government in the state.

Yadav asserted in a media appearance that the BJP has little influence in Bihar. "No effect will occur. How can the government be formed? While we are here, is it possible for the BJP to establish the government? "The BJP is now recognized by the public," Yadav declared.

The Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) ten-year dominance came to an end as the BJP gained 48 seats in the Delhi elections, marking a historic return to power in the nation's capital after 27 years. The Congress failed to gain a single seat for the third straight term, and the AAP only managed 22 seats, a sharp decline from their 62-seat showing in the 2020 assembly polls.

Nonetheless, a number of leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) have stated their optimism that the alliance will do better in the later-this-year Bihar Assembly elections.

Bihar has benefited from the efforts of the "double-engine" government, according to Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, who also emphasized that the NDA will win the next Assembly elections more forcefully than it did in Delhi. "Because of chief minister Nitish Kumar, people have been able to better understand Bihar for the last 20 years," Jha stated.

Additionally, BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal expressed optimism that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's NDA would create a strong administration in Bihar following Delhi. "The current administration in Bihar is doing a great job. In several states during the past ten years, the public has given the BJP another chance. "We will establish a robust government in Bihar as well," Khandelwal declared.

Prime Minister Modi recently met with about 30 Bihar MPs from the BJP, JD(U), and other NDA parties in Parliament to talk about the next elections.
In response to a question concerning the possible impact of Delhi's election results on Bihar's, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav firmly declared, "Bihar is Bihar - they (BJP) will have to understand this."
