Dumka, Jharkhand - Jharkhand BJP President Babulal Marandi has launched a scathing attack on the state government, accusing it of aiding Bangladeshi infiltration and compromising national security. Speaking in Dumka on Saturday, Marandi claimed that the infiltrators aim to convert Jharkhand into a "jihad zone" by seizing land and resources from the tribal population.
Marandi accused the coalition government of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress of defying High Court orders on the issue. He alleged that the government is protecting infiltrators for vote bank politics, compromising the water, forest, and land of the tribal communities. Labeling the current administration as a "Thugbandhan Sarkar," he assured that a BJP-led government would expel all illegal infiltrators from the state.
In response to Marandi's statements, Jharkhand Minister Irfan Ansari challenged him to prove the presence of even a single Bangladeshi infiltrator, accusing the BJP of spreading misinformation and defaming the Santhal Pargana region.
The ongoing debate over Bangladeshi infiltration in Jharkhand continues to be a contentious issue, with political leaders exchanging sharp criticisms. The BJP, led by Babulal Marandi, vows to take stringent measures against illegal infiltrators if they return to power.
